Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Manager to join a new children’s residential home in Liverpool. This role offers a chance to support a fresh, highly-trained team and contribute to creating a nurturing environment for children with disabilities.
Role

Support the Registered Manager in day-to-day operations, including compliance with Ofsted standards.

Supervise and mentor a team of 5 core staff and 3 bank staff.

Assist in the application processes for home registration and planning for additional children’s placements.

Ensure the implementation of all policies and procedures within the home.

Provide a safe, welcoming, and therapeutic environment for children.
Requirements

Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker or Deputy Manager in children’s residential care.

Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve Level 4 within 6 months).

Understanding of safeguarding practices and disability care.

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Salary

Up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
