Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Manager to join a new childrenā€™s residential home in Liverpool. This role offers a chance to support a fresh, highly-trained team and contribute to creating a nurturing environment for children with disabilities.

Role

  • Support the Registered Manager in day-to-day operations, including compliance with Ofsted standards.

  • Supervise and mentor a team of 5 core staff and 3 bank staff.

  • Assist in the application processes for home registration and planning for additional childrenā€™s placements.

  • Ensure the implementation of all policies and procedures within the home.

  • Provide a safe, welcoming, and therapeutic environment for children.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker or Deputy Manager in childrenā€™s residential care.

  • Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve Level 4 within 6 months).

  • Understanding of safeguarding practices and disability care.

  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Salary

  • Up to Ā£35,000 per annum depending on experience.
