Asbestos Surveyor

Location: Liverpool / NorthwestSalary: £40,000 per annum (OTE £55,000 with overtime)

Are you a qualified Asbestos Surveyor seeking a new opportunity? Do you hold P405 and P402 certifications?

TS Recruitment is working with a well-established asbestos consultancy that is expanding its team and looking for skilled professionals like you.

What's on Offer:

  • Competitive base salary of around £40,000 per annum
  • Company van and fuel card provided
  • Overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 per week, with potential earnings of an additional £15,000 per year
  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
  • Overnight accommodation covered for travel with a £25 per day allowance (approximately 5-8 days per month)
  • 3% employer pension contributions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct asbestos surveys at various sites
  • Survey commercial buildings and produce detailed reports
  • Assess sites for risks and identify asbestos-containing materials
  • Collect photographic evidence of suspected materials, recording all necessary details
  • Compile comprehensive survey reports with findings on contaminated materials
  • Inspect sites for major clients, such as shopfitting companies, and provide analysis of asbestos risks
  • Work may require travel across the UK, with some overnight stays

About the Company:

  • A specialist contractor in asbestos management
  • Annual turnover of £1.5 million
  • Works primarily on commercial contracts, including schools, hospitals, offices, and retail projects

Required Skills & Experience:

  • P405 and P402 certifications
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Asbestos Surveyor
  • Proven track record in asbestos surveying and industry knowledge
  • Strong IT and numerical skills
  • Full UK driving licence
