About the Role


An dual-office Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based in L13, Liverpool, are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technician with expertise in PDS software to join their engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial development projects, supporting the design and delivery of infrastructure solutions.



Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed civil engineering technician drawings and designs using PDS software.
  • Assist in the design of highways, drainage, and earthworks for residential and commercial developments.
  • Support senior engineers in the preparation of feasibility studies, technical reports, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with other team members, architects, and external consultants.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and client requirements.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys as required.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in PDS software for highway and infrastructure design.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, particularly in land development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, PDS and MicroDrainage (desirable).
  • Understanding of UK design standards, including DMRB, SuDS, and Building Regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
