Purpose of Role:
The Business Development Director/Commercial Manager will lead business growth and commercial strategies across a group of three companies within the construction sector. This senior role requires a dynamic leader with proven expertise in business development, commercial management, and strategic client engagement. The successful candidate will leverage their industry knowledge to identify growth opportunities, drive revenue, and build long-lasting client partnerships that contribute to the group's long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Development and Market Expansion
- Develop and execute a cohesive business development strategy to promote growth across the three companies.
- Identify, assess, and pursue high-value opportunities within the construction industry to expand the client portfolio.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients, ensuring effective follow-up and successful contract conversion.
- Represent the group at key industry events and high-level networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
- Leadership and Team Development
- Lead and inspire business development and commercial teams to meet and exceed performance targets.
