Communications Manager Opportunity - Liverpool/Hybrid

We are recruiting on behalf of a great company based in Liverpool City Centre who are seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join their small, but productive Marketing team. You'll have the opportunity to make a huge impact for the business as you'll be coming in with new ideas, and the ability to build strong foundations for this role. The role offers flexibility with hybrid working, excellent benefits and a friendly and welcoming culture across the business.

This would suit someone with a varied marketing and communications background; someone who enjoys a broad role within a fast paced environment and has line management experience.

Title: Communications Manager

Role: Permanent, Full time

Location: Liverpool city centre office 2 days per week, 3 days from home (hybrid working)

Salary: up to £45K per annum

What you'll be doing?

  • Working in a small team, you'll be responsible for driving the brand of the business forward, and raising the profile and awareness of the company.
  • Managing a small team of executives providing guidance to their duties and career.
  • Managing social media platforms, responsible for growing followers and engagement on these channels.
  • Managing and organising events for the business, responsible for all marketing collateral and communications.
  • Working collaboratively with your team, as well as other stakeholders across the business.
  • Responsible for all external communications, media relations and brand marketing.
  • PR releases.
  • Copywriting for multiple channels including website, emails, corporate statements, presentations, PR materials, newsletters, industry events and articles (both print and digital platforms).
  • Creating and monitoring a marketing content calendar
  • Reporting on social media analytics as well as the website performance via google analytics and other platforms
What experience and skills will you need?

This role will suit someone who is an experienced B2B marketer! Someone who can 'wear many hats' and enjoys variety day to day.

  • Proven experience in an in-house and/or agency corporate communications role.
  • Qualification in PR, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent course desirable but not necessary.
  • Proven experience in creating content for print and digital media, corporate websites (SEO optimised) and managing and creating content for social media platforms (primarily X and LinkedIn) and communicating with a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator).
  • Excellent written English skills with the ability to write, edit and proof to a very high standard.
  • Line management experience preferred.
