Our client in Liverpool is currently on the lookout for a Project Manager to join their team and work on some of their projects they have lined up which includes a series of upgrades and migrations of their infrastructure systems to the cloud. 

As a team and individual, you will be responsible for the delivery of these projects from regular meetings to requirement gatherings, testing, delivery, rollout and handover to BAU. You will also be responsible for the management of the suppliers and ensuring stakeholder needs are met. 

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Working with the PMO Analyst, ensure projects are set-up and initiated consistent with project governance and develop an understanding of the necessary budget for the project. 
  • Creating project briefs for delivery team and work with internal stakeholders to capture detailed requirements and test cases
  • Working and meeting with key suppliers, stakeholders and cross-functional teams on a daily basis 
  • Host daily stand ups and weekly project review meetings with project delivery team whilst managing the project budget
  • Identify and track risks to the project and work to mitigate where possible

Skills and experience required for this role:

  • Capable of running multiple projects simultaneously with a strong track record of delivery key projects
  • Previous experience of working on infrastructure, cloud and cyber security based projects will be ideal
  • PRINCE2 accredited or anything equivalent is acceptable 
  • Excellent experience of working with a variety of stakeholder, managing objections, problem solving and negotiation whilst communicating effectively
