Hays is seeking a freelance Project Manager for a regional fitout contractor in the Merseyside area.
The role involves overseeing the project from preconstruction to handover, managing subcontractors, and ensuring health and safety compliance on site.
Candidates should have prior Project Manager experience, a good understanding of fitout projects, and UK-based construction experience is essential.
The position offers a competitive daily rate based on experience, with work expected to start by the end of March for a duration of 14 weeks.
Relevant qualifications such as CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid are required, with M&E knowledge being desirable.

Our ClientHays is working with a regional fitout contractor who is on the lookout for a freelance Project manager to oversee their project in the Merseyside area, from start to finish. As Project Manager, you will:

Oversee the project from preconstruction to handover
Oversee all subcontractors on site
Manage drawings and variations
Ensure H&S and RAMS on site
Liaise with clients and stakeholders

What you require:

Good knowledge of fitout projects
M&E knowledge is desirable
CSCS, SMSTS, & First Aid
Previous Project Manager experience
Good understanding of drawings & managing variations
UK-based construction experience is essential
