A leading Commercial Law firm based in Liverpool City Centre is seeking a Conveyancing Assistant/ Paralegal to join their Residential Development team.The Role:You will be supporting a Property Specialist dealing with all aspects of residential development sales from reservation to completion . The role will include:* Opening plot sales files* Drafting contracts (precedent documentation provided) in accordance with reservation form* Sending contract and contract pack to buyer's solicitor* Receipting payments in and out* Exchanging contracts* Dealing with basic plot sale enquiries with a view to dealing with most enquiries over time* Dealing with completion - including drafting the leases/underleases from precedent documentation suppliedYou will also be dealing with general property matters to include - * File opening and closure* Land Registry - obtaining documents, submitting applications* SDLT - submitting residential and commercial returns* Echits for monies in/out* Drafting bills* Sending documents outThe Ideal Candidate:You will have previous relevant experience within Residential Property ideally including some Plot Sales work however this is not essential as full training will be provided.You will be well organised and be able to work well under pressure.Good computer skills including word and excel.You will have excellent communication skills.This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with solid administrative experience or previous conveyancing experience to join a leading national law firm with a reputation for technical expertise and commercial insight.
