Tradewind are recruiting for a Food Technology Teacher to join one of our well-established schools near Sefton Park. The position is due to start in February at one of our Liverpool client secondary schools.

Our Liverpool client school is looking for a Food Technology Teacher to prepare and deliver lessons to KS3 and KS4 on a Monday - Thursday basis. This is a part-time, temporary position required to start as soon as possible and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year. The position will be paid to scale, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to students across various year groups.
  • Create a stimulating and effective learning environment for all students.
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress.
  • Work collaboratively with the department and contribute to the development of the curriculum.
  • Promote healthy eating and safe cooking practices.
  • Support students' individual learning needs.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience in teaching Food Technology.
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
