A leading law firm based in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with strong litigation experience to handle a diverse caseload in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of debt recovery matters, with the opportunity to retrain for candidates from Personal Injury (PI), Credit Hire, or Housing Disrepair (HDR) litigation backgrounds.
- Handle cases from inception through to resolution, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including claims, responses, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and liaise with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient case progression.
- Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients, ensuring high levels of client care and communication throughout the litigation process.
- Attend court hearings, where necessary, and manage all aspects of case preparation.
- Ensure compliance with Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and stay up-to-date with relevant legal precedents and legislation.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years PQE or equivalent in litigation.
- Strong litigation experience is essential, with a keen interest in debt recovery. Candidates with PI, Credit Hire, or HDR backgrounds seeking retrain are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
