About the Role:

Search Consultancy is supporting a law firm to recruit a diligent and experienced Credit Controller for a 6-12 month fixed-term contract in Liverpool. This role involves dealing with cash allocation, aged debt, and managing financial files.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for managing the company's credit processes. Your duties will include cash allocation, monitoring and reducing aged debt, and maintaining accurate financial files. You will liaise with clients to resolve payment issues, negotiate payment plans, and ensure timely collections. Additionally, you will prepare regular reports on credit status and recommend improvements to credit policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • You will need to have proven experience in credit control or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in a financial software, or a software used in the legal sector would be preferably
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
