PP Associates are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established business who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team. Your role will be a fixed-term contract for 6-months and will take you right up until the end of March 2025. You will work as part of a small team whilst being a key part of the wider finance department.

As Credit Controller, your duties will include:

  • Setting up new customers, and maintaining customer accounts on the sales ledger
  • Raising sales invoices ensuring accuracy and maximising revenue
  • Collecting payments by telephone and email
  • Resolving customer queries efficiently and promptly
  • Reconciling customer accounts, ensuring payments are accurately allocated
  • Raising copy invoices, credit notes, and customer statements
  • Reconciling unallocated cash
  • Producing debtor reports for cashflow forecasting purposes

Experience and skills you will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in credit control and sales ledger
  • Excellent communication and relationship building experience
  • Experience of accountancy software and Microsoft packages including Excel
  • Highly numerate and literate
  • Diligent

As Credit Controller you will enjoying working as part of a small collaborative team. You will play a key role in effective cash collection for the business and will share the same goals and vision as your colleagues. You will receive support and guidance on processes and systems in the early stages of your role, and enjoy working in a professional, warm, genuine team.

Salary and Benefits include:

  • 26,500
  • Contract until end of March 2025
  • Remote role (with 1-2 days per month in the office, candidates must live locally)
  • 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • 35 hours per week (opportunity to work 4.5-day week or 9-day fortnight)
