Credit Controller

£28,000 - £30,000 | Knowsley | Temporary on-going with potential to go Permanent

Adaptable Recruitment is working with a thriving company in Knowsley seeking a talented standalone Credit Controller to join their team on a temporary basis, with the possibility of going permanent.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively contact customers via phone, email, and letters to ensure timely debt collection.
  • Review aged debt daily, driving results to hit your targets.
  • Provide weekly updates to the Finance Director on cleared invoices and upcoming payments.
  • Collaborate with management and the commercial team to improve credit control processes and boost overall performance.
  • Manage all sales ledger transactions, including posting and allocating receipts.
Who Will You Report To?

You'll report directly to the Financial Controller, offering you visibility and the opportunity to make a real impact!

What We're Looking For:
  • 1+ years of experience in a high-volume Credit Control role is essential
  • Experience with Credit Insurance is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, able to clearly relay information to team members.
  • Excellent Excel and system skills are a must.
