Debt Recovery Agent / Contact Centre Agent who has a great telephone manner with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to listen to the customer’s needs whilst building rapport and supporting them throughout the process is required for an established call centre that has built its reputation by providing specialised, and compassionate engagement services to clients.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN FINANCIAL SERVICES AND/OR CONTACT CENTRE IS AN ADVANTAGE - FULL TRAINING PROVIDED

If you have previous experience working in a call centre, then great. If not, the company will provide full training and support to ensure you start off on the right foot.

SALARY: £25,000 - £28,938 per annum + Bonus + Generous Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: Kirkby, Liverpool Merseyside, North West England (L33)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm

Although the company has no immediate plans to change their working hours, they may at some point in the future return to the original shift pattern which is an alternating 2-week shift of Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm and 10am - 7pm and 1 Saturday every 4 weeks, 9am - 2pm

Due to continued growth the company is looking to hire multiple people to join the team.

The company operate a hybrid working pattern which allows colleagues to gain a work life balance with the opportunity to work from office and home for part of the week once you are achieving core competencies. JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Debt Recovery Agent / Contact Centre Agent who has a great telephone manner with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to listen to the customer’s needs whilst building rapport and supporting them throughout the process.

Due to continued growth, the company is looking to recruit multiple people. Call centre or financial services experience is an advantage and we will also consider candidates from all types of backgrounds, whether that’s working as a Retail Assistant, Administrator, Office Assistant, Waiting Staff, or Shop Assistant just to name a few. The most important factor is you have a friendly, professional approach to your work, the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced role, handle difficult conversations with customers and willing to learn how to do the job.

The company find people learn best in person and from hearing and watching others, so as the Debt Recovery Agent / Contact Centre Agent you will start at their office in Kirkby, Liverpool, Merseyside. Once you’re up to speed there will be opportunities for a hybrid working pattern starting from 4 months service if you are hitting targets and have reached core competency in the role, this will be split between working from home and the office for part of the week, which allows you to have a great work life balance.

On a day-to-day basis you will communicate with customers through incoming and outgoing telephone calls. Supporting customers to pay off their debts in a practical and affordable way. You will aim to understand customers individual circumstances by asking questions ensuring that the customers best interests are met.

It is hard work and can be difficult at times but also rewarding when you achieve the right outcome for customers whilst working towards KPI’s. It’s not for everyone, but you can make a real impact on people’s lives.

ABOUT YOU

As a successful candidate you will have the following attributes:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of vulnerable customers and how to identify them
  • Good telephone manner, building rapport with customers
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to confidently articulate the best outcome for the customer on the spot.
  • Good IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Excel
