Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for residents via inbound calls related to Council Services, including Tax enquiries.
  • Provide clear explanations of Tax bills, payment plans, and account details.
  • Set up and manage Direct Debits, payment plans, and other payment options.
  • Assist residents with Council Tax-related issues, including arrears, disputes, and exemptions.
  • Ensure compliance with council policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions.
What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience handling enquiries related to Tax billing and recovery.
  • Familiarity with revenue systems such as NEC Northgate.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
