Key Responsibilities- Serve as the first point of contact for residents via inbound calls related to Council Services, including Tax enquiries.
- Provide clear explanations of Tax bills, payment plans, and account details.
- Set up and manage Direct Debits, payment plans, and other payment options.
- Assist residents with Council Tax-related issues, including arrears, disputes, and exemptions.
- Ensure compliance with council policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience handling enquiries related to Tax billing and recovery.
- Familiarity with revenue systems such as NEC Northgate.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
