- Managing day-to-day financial transactions
- Reconciling bank statements with the general ledger
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Completing client to office account transfers
- Processing client and office receipts
- Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports
- Providing support to the accounting and finance team as needed
Profile
A successful Legal Cashier should have:
- Previous experience in a Legal Cashier role
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with legal accounting software
- A keen eye for detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
