Our client based in St Helens is currently looking for a Sales Data Analyst on a full time basis to join their growing business and to help drive further business growth 

As a Sales Data Analyst, you will be required to provider expert data analysis by handling systems and products as well as large volumes of data which is critical for the business whilst also having customer interaction whether this is in person or virtual. A background in sales is not essential but good customer service is essential as well as a keen eye on using data to drive further growth through sales rebates, cost pricing and turnover.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide data analysis for all customers with a key focus on large customer accounts 
  • Conduct analysis of end of month sales, YTD sales, MoM sales, product group sales, attrition, growth, new business and growth in new business
  • Carry out regular margin check, deal with low margin reports, rebate data, rebate impact on new product
  • Create spreadsheets of new product data and new product set up.
  • Analysis and investigation of price increase data and to carry out regular price increase uploading and checking
  • Help with setting up new customer accounts, new customer pricing and customer testing 

Some of the key skills and experience required for this role:

  • Experience of working as a Data Analyst. Experience or background in sales will be beneficial 
  • Strong experience of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint as well as data analysis tools. Experience or knowledge of BisTrack will be beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent customer service, being able to demonstrate strong account management by managing the data of key accounts and further developing these accounts
  • Excellent team working and communication skills, ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
