Data Analyst/Officer (Energy)

Liverpool/Remote (On site once per week, sometimes more)

A Data Analyst is required for our property client based in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be joining the Asset Management, Planning and Data Team and ill be responsible for collecting, analysing and managing the energy performance data within the Asset Management Systems. You will also be responsible for the data integrity and quality assurance of all energy related data. You will assist with funding bids for retrofit programmes to improve the energy performance of the Group’s portfolio.

Responsibilities

To ensure valid energy efficiency data is held in the asset management system. Ensuring accurate data is collated on stock condition surveys and linked to the energy data held within the Asset Management System.

To validate the existing energy performance by utilising data held within other systems in the business.

To ensure there is a targeted approach to carrying out Energy Performance Certificates (EPC).

To review and evaluate the energy performance of the Group’s housing stock to ensure compliance with legislation and to improve energy performance.

To undertake detailed analysis into poor performing properties, liaising with the Repairs & Maintenance Team and Investment Team to ensure maximum energy performance is achieved.

To manipulate large volumes of data using key functions such as filters, tables, pivot tables and formulas such as VLOOKUPs.

To liaise with external bodies; contractors, consultants and partners.

To maintain up to date information and inventories on to the Group’s utilities.

To liaise with energy consultants over usage, smart meter installations and assist with the procurement of new utility contracts.
