Role: Data Engineer

Location: Liverpool, Merseyside

Hybrid working: go into office 2 days a week

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)

Insight into the Company:

This organisation is an exciting martech organisation that is looking at innovative ways to market to customers and are looking for a Data Engineer to enter their team. You will be working in a small team, working alongside the Data Integration Manager and they are looking to build up the team over the next year. This is a unique role as you will be using C# as your main language!

The ideal candidate will have experience with managing data warehouses from start to finish and experience with data modelling. The main project will be building a data hub so it can be accessible to the business and stakeholders can use it on a wider scale.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • You will design, build and upgrade ETL pipelines
  • You will look to manage and optimise data infrastructure
  • You will have expertise in a cloud platform - from collecting, to transforming to loading!

Skills and Experience:

  • Essential to have experience with:
    • C#
    • SQL
    • Data warehouse management
    • Data modelling
  • Desirable to have experience with:
    • Azure
    • Bachelors in STEM subject - ideally computer science or engineering
    • Python
