Client Billing and Commissions Associate

My financial services sector client is seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Client Billing & Commissions Associate to join their Billing team. The company provides a broad range of financial business solutions to investment banks, broker-dealers, wealth managers, financial planners and advisers across EMEA. They provide sophisticated front-end technology and flexible middle office capabilities with execution, settlement and custody services. These are supported by a robust regulatory and compliance framework with dedicated client asset experience and expertise. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Participate in the preparation of billing of clients. Understand all processes and procedures and be able to undertake all tasks wherever necessary.
  • Oversee invoice calculation and generation to ensure correct and timely preparation.
  • Work with large volumes of data, manipulating reports to ensure correct data is provided to the business and clients.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure deadlines are met for assigned tasks within invoicing and management fees.
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to resolve queries.
  • Provide all supporting documentation to clients in line with their requirements.
  • Demonstrate an effective control environment around the entire billing related processes.
  • Continual review of the processes and controls to ensure they remain fit for purpose.
  • Work on ad hoc projects and process reviews as required.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required
  • ACCA Part Qualified
  • Experience of Billing in Financial Services
  • Experience in Finance Operations processes preferred
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel knowledge (including data manipulation and data analysis)
