Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Acute Neuro Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized nutritional care to patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, epilepsy, and other acute neurodegenerative disorders. This role involves assessing the unique dietary needs of neuro patients, developing individualized care plans, and supporting optimal recovery and quality of life through evidence-based nutritional interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients with acute neurological conditions.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans based on patients' medical history, lab results, medication interactions, and specific neuro-related needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to address dysphagia, malnutrition, and other neuro-specific challenges.
  • Provide specialized guidance on enteral and parenteral nutrition when oral intake is compromised.
