We are looking to recruit an experienced ASB Officer to cover a patch of housing stock in North Liverpool on a temporary basis for a minimum of 6 weeks on behalf of a well-established housing association.

Typically, you will work 37 hours per week and have the option of hybrid working, managing your own diary around meetings/visits on patch.Your new role

  • Responsible for your own caseload of ASB, domestic violence, tenancy fraud and other tenancy breach cases
  • Investigating complaints & safeguarding reports, gathering evidence and preparing legal paperwork for court hearings, including witness statements
  • Implementing early intervention measures such as warnings, mediation referrals and ABC's
  • Working in partnership with internal colleagues, external partners and key stakeholders to tackle and prevent ASB within communities
  • Serving notices and attending evictions

What you'll need to succeed

  • Min 12 months housing management experience and experience of managing own caseload of ASB cases
  • Experience of investigating and resolving cases including gathering evidence, conducting interviews and preparing statements for legal proceedings
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, colleagues and external agencies
  • Personal resilience and empathy
  • Understanding of risk assessing and what to do when risks are identified
  • Knowledge and experience of implementing early intervention measures and appropriate actions in cases of ASB/DV/Safeguarding
