About the Role:
As an Electrical Estimator, you'll play a pivotal role in the preparation and submission of accurate and competitive electrical tenders. Your expertise will guide project costs, ensuring efficiency and profitability from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, analysing drawings, specifications, and other documentation.

  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project scope.

  • Source and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

  • Evaluate potential risks and incorporate contingencies into estimates.

  • Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and submission.

  • Track project costs and provide regular updates on budget vs. actual expenditures.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and pricing.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and industry best practices.

  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field are desirable.
