Early Career Teacher (ECT) - SEND School

Location: MerseysideContract: Full-time / Part-time / Ad-hoc (Flexible)Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join our pool of staff working with SEND schools across Merseyside. We are offering both full-time and part-time roles, with the flexibility of ad-hoc shifts, giving you the opportunity to develop your teaching experience in a supportive and dynamic SEND environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of SEND students
  • Work closely with support staff to ensure the educational and emotional development of students
  • Collaborate with the school's SENCO and other professionals to create individual learning plans
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress
  • Be flexible and ready to take on morning calls for daily assignments

Requirements:

  • Newly qualified teacher (NQT) or ECT status
  • A passion for working with children with special educational needs
  • The ability to adapt lessons and manage behaviour effectively
  • Willingness to work in different SEND schools across Merseyside
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
