The School and Role

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities?  

Vision for Education are working with a two form entry Primary schools based in Kensington, Liverpool, who are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) with a small group of children based in KS2.  You will join a dedicated primaryteam who's aim is to reduce barriers to learning and foster a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment. 

The role is full time to start as soon as possible on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

The desired Behaviour Support Assistant will have;

  • Experience of working with primary school aged children
  • Experience working with children with a SEND background/on a 1-1 basis
  • Experience of supporting children particularly with behaviour challenges
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
