Early Years Educators work with and care for children from birth to 5 years. They play a massive role in supporting children to have the best start to their education. As an Early Years specialist, you will personally help to close the gap and increase the life chances of the children you work with.

The Role

Working alongside qualified Early Years Practitioners and professionals, you will work towards your own Early Years Practitioner Level 2 qualification. Your mission is to provide exceptional early years care in a safe, nurturing and fulfilling environment whilst inspiring children to unlock their full potential through key skills and values which will establish them as gifted citizens of the world.

Wage offered is apprentice minimum wage and will be £6.40 per hour for the first year.

The Training

You will be completing an Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship. The expected duration of this course is 15 months on a full time basis.

Details of working week

Planning and supervising fun and educational stimulating activities
Managing a daily schedule that includes activities, toilet breaks, lunch and rest time
Observing children and taking notes of any problematic behaviour
Communicating with parents and staff members
Ensuring the safety of children
Helping children learn numeracy and language through daily activities
Attend and contribute to meetings, trainings, work shift hours

8am - 3.30pm, Monday - Friday - 35 hours a week
