The School and Role

This large, two-form entry junior school in Aigburth, Liverpool, are looking to appoint a nurturing and passionate Teaching Assistant to support in a year 2 class.  The role will be part-time, starting immediately, and will be ongoing, working Mon-Fri, 08:30am-12pm.  This Ofsted rated 'Good' school, were most recently inspected in October 2023, where it was found to be a friendly and welcoming school where pupils, especially children in the early years, arrive each morning smiling and ready to learn.  Parents and carers appreciate that their children benefit from the school’s nurturing environment and pupils have positive relationships with each other and with staff.  Enthusiastic and creative teaching staff are supported by a strong senior leadership team, all delivering in classrooms focused on maintaining a positive atmosphere for children and practitioners alike.  

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
