The Role:

As a Classroom Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and helping students to reach their full potential. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to make a real difference in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.

  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to provide additional support.

  • Assist with classroom preparation, organization, and behavior management.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Provide support to children with special educational needs (SEN) when required.

  • Encourage student participation and confidence in learning activities.

  • Supervise students during break times, ensuring a safe and caring atmosphere.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to enhance student development. 

What we're looking for: 

  • Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting (preferred but not essential).

  • A passion for education and supporting young learners.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Adaptability, patience, and a positive attitude.

  • An understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies (training will be provided).

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not mandatory).
