Part-time Teaching Assistant
Milk Education are working with a primary school in Liverpool (L31) who are seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to work as a general TA in the classroom. This role is starting after half-term and will be a temporary, long-term role.
The School are looking for someone who is patient, nurturing and accommodating toe the child’s learning needs for this part-time Teaching Assistant position.
This part-time Teaching Assistant role will involve keeping the child on task and ensuring that the work they doing is being done to a good standard. You will be responsible for getting resources ready for the day and ensure the child’s needs are being met. In this part-time Teaching Assistant role you will provide a patient and nurturing learning environment for the child.
Teaching Assistant- Role & Responsibilities:
· Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children
· Support children consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
· Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans asappropriate
· Deliver catch-up sessions
Teaching Assistant Level- Non-negotiables:
· Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, withinthe past two years
· Must have a passion for education
· Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
· Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
· Must be reliable and punctual
