The RoleWe are seeking compassionate and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to join our partner schools in Liverpool. Successful candidates will provide essential support to students with diverse learning needs, enabling them to achieve their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment
  • Working one-on-one or in small groups with students who have special educational needs
  • Assisting with classroom management and fostering a positive learning atmosphere
  • Adapting lesson materials and resources to meet individual student needs
  • Providing emotional and social support for students, promoting well-being and resilience

Requirements:

  • Experience working in SEND or a similar educational environment
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with special needs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering a supportive educational environment
