About Us:

Join our vibrant and supportive primary school community in the L19 area. We are dedicated to providing an enriching and inclusive educational experience for all our students. We are looking for enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to support our Key Stage 2 learners and help them achieve their full potential.

You will be working 1-2-1 with a child in year 3 with additional needs. Also providing general classroom support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons tailored to Key Stage 2 students.

  • Provide support to individual students and small groups, including those with special educational needs (SEN).

  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Support the development of students' social and emotional skills.

  • Assist with administrative tasks and classroom organization.

  • Supervise students during breaks and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in an educational setting is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

  • A relevant qualification or training in education is advantageous but not mandatory.
