Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the Lower Key Stage 2 team starting in January 2025. The successful candidate will support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and provide additional support to students to enhance their learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of lesson plans and learning activities.

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.

  • Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.

  • Support the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.

  • Foster social and emotional development through positive interactions and activities.

  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.

  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are a plus.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting student's learning and development.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
