Your new company Hays Education are working with schools across Liverpool to source experienced teaching assistants to offer supply work. This will consist of some day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements. Your new role In your new role, you will be working in various schools across Liverpool. You will support the class teacher in KS3 or KS4 classes to deliver the curriculum effectively. You will work 1:1 with SEN pupils and also take group work sessions outside the classroom.What you'll need to succeed To be considered in your application, you must have full 'Right to work' in the UK as well as:

  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1/2/3)
  • 1+ years experience working with children/within a school
  • Confident supporting students' maths and English amongst other subjects
  • Be able to offer 1:1 and group sessions
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions
  • Strong relationship building skills
