Your new companyHays Education are working with a secondary school in Liverpool who are looking for a LONG TERM, FULL-TIME, teaching assistant to join their team. This will start as soon as possible. Your new roleThis role will involve working with KS3 and KS4. You will be supporting the class teacher as well as:

  • Supporting SEN pupils
  • Working 1:1 and in groups
  • Assisting with class work
  • Managing behaviour
  • Building relationships

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in the role, you will need to have a full DBS or the documents to apply for one, as well as:

  • 1+ years experience working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school
  • Experience working with SEN pupils/children
  • Ability to support with maths and English
  • Knowledge of safeguarding
  • Full time availability
