Your new company & your new roleThis Primary School in Huyton (L36) is looking at appointing a new Teaching Assistant to join a Key Stage 2 class, where you will be assisting the class teacher, providing support to students within the classroom, ensuring they understand the tasks given and assisting them when needed. There will be some aspects of 1:1 in this role.This is a full-time role, and you will be working Monday-Friday, 8.30-3.30. What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in this role, you will hold a Level 2/3 or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification and have reference-able experience of working in a school or support setting in the last 2 years.

  • Ability to engage with pupils of varying ages and abilities.
  • Experience of working on a one-to-one basis with pupils
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • A flexible, adaptable approach to work
