We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant for a Primary school in Bootle (L30) to work on a long-term basis.

Teaching Assistant role & responsibilities:

  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
  • Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
  • Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate
  • Work 1:1 with SEN children
  • Conduct small group interventions in numeracy, literacy and phonics.

Teaching Assistant Non-negotiables:

  • Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting
  • Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher

Preferred:

  • Holds a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.)
