Your new companyHays Education are supporting a secondary school in Maghull as they are looking to recruit an experienced teaching assistant to support KS3 and KS4 classes. This is a temporary, long-term role starting from January.Your new roleIn your new role in the school, you will be supporting KS3 and KS4 classes. You will be working alongside the class teacher to help deliver curriculum effectively, working 1:1 and in groups specifically with SEN pupils. What you'll need to succeedTo be considered in your application, you must have full 'Right to work' in the UK as well as:

  • 1+ years experience working within a school/with children
  • Confident supporting students with maths and English amongst other subjects
  • Experience working with SEN pupils
  • Be able to offer 1:1 and group sessions
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions
  • Strong relationship building skills
