Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work with students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) at a highly regarded school in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people.
The Role:As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students with SEND, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), in both classroom and individual settings.
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson plans and resources to meet the needs of pupils.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Assist with personal care needs, if required.
- Promote student's independence, confidence, and emotional well-being.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND is highly desirable.
- A calm, empathetic, and patient approach to working with students.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
