Your new CompanyHays Education supports secondary schools in the Liverpool area. We are looking for recent graduates who want to kick-start their teaching career, by getting some experience in a teaching assistant role, to join our team. Your new roleThe role will involve supporting KS3 and KS4 classes around Liverpool. It will include supporting the class teacher, group work and 1:1 work with SEN children. This role starts from September and can be flexible, e.g. day-day bookings/long-term contracts. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you will need a full DBS/Documents to apply for one as well as:

  • Experience working with children where references can be obtained, e.g. sports coach/after-school clubs/brownies lead etc.
  • Confident supporting students with Maths and English amongst other subjects
  • Ability to take both 1:1 and group work
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to effectively work in a team and following instructions
