Milk Education is excited to partner with a Pupil Referral Unit in Liverpool, seeking a Young Offenders Teaching Assistant to support pupils at risk of offending.

About the Role: This full-time position requires you to work Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 15:30. As a Young Offenders Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting children with their learning, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring adherence to school policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons
  • Support pupils in regulating their emotions and behaviour

  • Recent and relevant experience working with children or adults facing mental health challenges
  • Availability for the full Monday to Friday schedule from 09:00 to 15:30
  • Ability to work effectively under the guidance of the classroom teacher
