We are a Tier 1 Legal 500 law firm, known for our prestigious reputation and high-quality service. Our Commercial Property team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join us as a Plot Sales/Commercial Property Assistant in our Liverpool office. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Plot Sales and Commercial Property teams, including preparing and amending legal documents, correspondence, and contracts.
  • Assist with the coordination and management of property transactions, ensuring deadlines are met and all documents are prepared to a high standard.
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, surveyors, and other third parties to ensure smooth progress of property transactions.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of legal forms, title deeds, and property agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all property transactions and case files.
  • Undertake research and due diligence, ensuring compliance with relevant property regulations and legislation.
  • Support the team with general administrative duties as required, including diary management and document filing.

Plot Sales Experience:

  • Opening files
  • Drafting contracts (precedent documentation provided) in accordance with reservation form
  • Sending contract and contract pack to buyer's solicitor
  • Receipting payments in and out
  • Exchanging contracts
  • Dealing with basic plot sale enquiries with a view to dealing with most enquiries over time
  • Dealing with completion - including drafting the leases/underleases from precedent documentation supplied

General Experience required:

  • File opening and closure
  • Land Registry - obtaining documents, submitting applications
  • SDLT - submitting residential and commercial returns
  • Echits for monies in/out
  • Drafting bills
  • Sending documents out
