Deputy Home Manager

Toxteth, Liverpool

£40,000 per annum

Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm - x7 shifts per week

Time Recruitment are working with an esteemed national charity for the aged; this not for profit organisation has a specialist and well reviewed nursing service based in Toxteth, Liverpool.

The service supports the people of Liverpool and Sefton who are over 50 to live a fulfilling life.

Operated from senior level by nurses they are effective with clinical oversight and you could be the next Deputy Home Manager to join them!

They offer support to 30 older people living with mental health conditions and varying types of dementia so we require a clinical manager to support a long standing home manager in the day to day operational and governance responsibilities in the home.

Deputy Home Manager Duties include:

- Support the manager in the day to day running of the home

- Ensuring the care, welfare and safety of all residents is maintained at the highest possible standard

- Completing physical/psychological assessments of new residents on admission

- Creating individualised care plans for residents

- Safely administering and recording of medication

- Liaising effectively with external suppliers and health care providers

- Monitoring and developing performance of care staff and the nursing team

- Ensuring effective rotas are in place

Deputy Home Manager Requirements:

- Registered Nurse with Valid Pin

- Excellent knowledge of all Standards and NMC code of practice

- Proven track record of person-centred care planning

- Experienced leader and mentor

- A passion for delivering high standards of care
