Salary: up to 47k per annum, DOE
As an Electrical Engineer, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and play a pivotal role in ensuring our plant and process equipment operates at peak efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:
- Executing repairs on electrical and instrumentation breakdowns using world-class problem-solving techniques.
- Completing planned preventative maintenance tasks to the highest standards.
- Utilising our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log faults, analyse data, and track materials.
- Developing prioritised maintenance plans to optimise maintenance windows effectively.
- Implementing predictive maintenance techniques such as thermal imaging, ultrasound, and vibration analysis.
- Collaborating with mechanical teams to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
- Adhering to all safety procedures and improving practises through risk assessments.
- Contributing to our food safety and quality assurance processes.
What We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A Level or HNC standard in engineering subjects.
- Apprenticeship training in instrumentation & electrical.
- Experience in a food production factory is desirable (knowledge of BRC standards is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a systematic approach to tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels.
- A self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
