My client are a leading mechanical and electrical engineering contractor who have gained an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality Mechanical and Electrical projects across the UK.

They provide a full range of mechanical and electrical services across the public and private sectors delivering projects across the commercial, education, healthcare, and leisure industries.

They are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team.

As the Electrical Estimator, your duties will include:

  • Reviewing agreed tenders, analysing specifications, and designs to complete take offs
  • Calculating the cost of materials, labour, and prelims
  • Obtaining quotes from specialist or named suppliers
  • Communication with clients to manage needs and expectations
  • Visiting prospective sites to support tender bids
  • Collaborating closely with other team members within the company to compile and submit tender bids.
  • Gathering tender information and producing tender documents.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the Electrical and / or Mechanical sector is advantageous but not essential.
  • A team player
  • Excellent communication skills
