Job Summary:
Due to a huge workload increase and an on-going plant expansion project, a highly reputable process related organisation in Liverpool is seeking a skilled & experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer on days.The electrical maintenance engineer will be responsible for the maintenance of all plant & facility assets and associated infrastructure.
Typical duties & responsibilities:
Provide site Electrical maintenance support on a days basis.
Safe isolations of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
Overhaul & testing of the site's EC&I equipment
Inspection, testing and service of all site electrical equipment
Fixed wiring defect repair of all site electrical equipment.
Fault diagnosis and resolution of EC&I problems across site.
Calibration of site instrumentation equipment.
Installation & commissioning of minor EC&I projects.
Root cause & Continuous Improvement of site assets.
In order to be successful
Recognised apprenticeship in relevant discipline (Electrical and Electronics Engineering)
Experience of working within an industrial,continuous process or production facility.
Knowledge of working with CMMS software applications
Detailed knowledge of preventative, predictive and lifecycle maintenance activities.
PLC/ HMI/ SCADA Understanding
CompEX Qualification Ideally
Instrumentation experience Ideally
