Your new roleAs a Field Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, and repair of coffee machines, water boilers, and water coolers. This role involves travelling to customer sites in the north of the UK, including parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland. The range for this role is Sheffield to Scotland. Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing faults in coffee machines.
  • Providing training to customers on machine operations.
  • Recording and analysing technical information.
  • Updating technical documentation.
  • Identifying opportunities for product improvement.
  • Supporting the Sales Team at client visits and trade fairs.
  • Maintaining excellent customer relations.
  • Organising daily routes for efficiency and handling urgent breakdowns.
  • Collaborating with internal departments.
  • Observing Health & Safety guidelines.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Knowledge of electronics and hydraulics.
  • Experience in testing and repairing service equipment.
  • Previous experience with pressure boilers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with coffee machine equipment is beneficial.
  • The ability to travel throughout the UK and stay overnight.
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • A focus on delivering excellent customer service.
  • Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
