Lead Electrical Commissioning Engineer - Petro-chemical Sector
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrical Commissioning Engineer for our client in the petro-chemical sector based in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for electromechanical commissioning of main process plant, process commissioning, testing as well as Electrical ICA and HV LV.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Chartered status with recognised engineering institution (e.g., CEng)
Skills:
The role requires an individual who possesses exceptional skills including but not limited to;
Electromechanical Commissioning Experience:
Experience carrying out full-cycle electro-mechanical design work on complex systems is essential.
Process Commissioning Expertise:
Ability to develop detailed technical specifications that meet project requirements; experience developing procedures used during system start-up & operations.
Testing Capabilities:
Familiarity with test equipment such as DVMs and oscilloscopes; ability to carry out tests according to standard operating procedures (SOP).
Electrical Instrumentation Control Automation Skills
Expertise working at all stages of EICA projects from concept through handover. Ability designing control panels using CAD tools like AutoCAD/EECOne-line diagrams etc.
HV/LV Knowledgeable
Knowledgeable about high voltage switchgear installations up-to 132kV levels
Additional Details:
This position offers a competitive rate of 550 per day upwards on contract basis depending on experience.
