Job Title - Senior Electrical Engineer

Salary - 50-55K Basic plus car/car allowance

Location - Merseyside

Nicholas Associates Group (Engineering & Technical) are recruiting for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for our client, a newly established and thriving low carbon renewable energy business.

This position has emerged due to a rapid increase in business enquiries and demand. Therefore they require an experienced electrical engineer in the field of installations and/or design with knowledge of various technology associated with the low carbon, heat pump, battery storage, solar, CHP and EV Charger industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of engineers
  • Design of medium to high voltage electrical equipment
  • Schematic and system design
  • Cost implication reports based on client specification
  • Visiting to client sites to check works and installations
  • Working to CDM regulations
  • Fully prepare hand overs to projects and engineering teams

Required Skills and Experience

  • Degree / HNC / HND or equivalent in Electrical engineering
  • Solid technical awareness of associated power products and M&E - Solar, Battery Storage, CHP, Biomass, Heat pumps, energy from waste, EV Charging, boiler systems etc
  • General engineering around the M&E, mechanical technology, Building services technology
  • Management and communication skills to interact with internal and external personnel.
  • On site experience
