Electrical Maintenance Technician

Monday to Friday (42 Hours Per Week - Days) No Shifts. 

Overview:

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a forward-thinking Manufacturer based in Liverpool. Specialising in recycling they supply a number of Clients across multiple industries with leading innovative products.

Salary Circa £40,000 + Bonus Scheme. 

Free onsite parking, training & development, 25 days holiday + bank holidays. 

Role Responsibilities:

As the Electrical Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for carrying out PPM activities, fixing breakdowns, and fault finding on all Mechanical and Electrical equipment.

  • Ensuring all equipment is compliant with HSE regulations, maintaining and raising quality and safety standards, resulting in an increase in machine availability.
  • You will also be responsible for managing the site automation systems and making changes to coding in support of continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborating with the wider Engineering team on CI projects, new equipment installations, commissioning and modifications.
  • As part of the role you’ll conduct inspections, testing, adjustment, and monitoring tasks as required to maintain factory efficiency. As well as undertaking reactive asset maintenance.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Apprentice trained in Electrical Engineering.
  • Electrically biased with a good understanding of Mechanical Engineering.
  • 18th Edition is essential.
  • Previous experience in automation & coding systems is essential (Siemens, Allen Bradley or Mitsubishi).

· Prior experience in a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment
